Why does Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection have so much lag?
Im not trying to brag at all but I have a Gamer Lounge DGL 4500 Router and Comcast internet service with the highest speed possible in Florida which is like 10 – 13 megs(Unsure about that). The question I have is, is it namco or me? It is highly frustrating to play any fighting game online and experience alot of lag. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Where is the server located? Once you know that, use http://www.speedtest.net/ to check your lag to that part of the world. Going across the country you’ll get at least 100ms lag – that’s just the way the internet is.
Whats a good PS3 fighting game?
Just bought a PS3 and wondering what is a good fighting game. Preferably one with online. And online that other people will actually be on. So far I only came across Soul Caliber 4, DBZ burst limit, and tekken 5 online add on (download only). how are those games online…any fun and do other people actually get on? cause i dont want to go to play online and then have no one else be on….thanks.
TEKKEN DR: ONLINE CONNECTION PROBLEMS?
First of all I live in UK and have a 10mb broadband from Virgin which works superb on every oter game I have, e.g. call of duty 4 & 5 my connection is 4 bars and I’m always the HOST.
All the other games the same, exept TEKKEN, when I create a room, some people come to my party & STEAL my connection, so when I have 3 bars I then have 0 or 1 and get beat up, WTF???
When sometimes I play with people from UK the coenction is ok, but that’s not all of the time… so what is the problem? Is it because everyone has a crap internet speed? I hate sharing with the connection, other fighting games are cool (fight night round 4 or street fighter 4)…
yes the other people have a crappy internet lost most people do its hard to find people with a good connection theres nothing wrong with what your doing u have to jus keep trying which sucks

Hello everyone,
I love to play games on my PS2/PC. Could anyone recommend a nice game that I could play with my girlfriend ?
I don’t think my girlfriend is a “gamer” type person. I have tried the following games for her with little to no success at all :
- Racing (NFS Carbon)
- Fighting (Tekken 5)
- Action (God of War II)
- RPG … definitely out of question …
- DDR and similar games at the arcade (i’m not too interested too…)
- Online games (I haven’t tried this, but i’m sure she wouldn’t be interested)
- Platform (Metal Slug)
- Taking her out to the game center / arcade center
- Various little games for PC (Zuma, Bounce Out, etc)
The only game so far that actually piqued her curiousity is “The House of the Dead 3″ (SEGA/PC) …i don’t understand this ? why this kind of game ? **confused**…
Any suggestion would be appreciated…

Tekken 6 Ending Movies?
Hey, I just got Tekken 6 yesterday, but I have no idea what’s going on ha. I played a *tiny* bit of number 5, which as why I got this. I’d never played the story mode or anything. Now I just started and I’m really confused. I just unlocked this place on a map called “Arena” and played through it onSteve Foxx, as I had chosen to unlock him. I finally beat 3 guys and then this weird monster thing, and it showed me a video of him getting loads of money and splitting it with two other guys. Ten Steve walked out, and you saw that there was a bomb on the money, killing the 2 other guys.
What the hell is that ending about? I know nothing about Tekken except that there’s a tournament called King of Iron Fist where people fight. Was that Arena thing the Tournament itself? I saw another ending online of Miguel, and his one was bad aswell? Can someone just tell me what the story of this game is, what that arena thing is for,who the F*CK is Azazel. I just want to play the tournament, not the level things with Lars and the robot. Can someone please just explain this game to me?

About the Steve Fox and Miguel endings:
Ever since Tekken 4, hardly any of the ending movies are linked to the storyline, they’re just created for entertainment and so there is a reward for completing a character’s story mode.
The Arena is where the King Of Iron Fist Tournament is held. You cannot unlock ending movies for Lars and Alisa at the Arena because they are the main characters in Scenario Campaign mode, and you unlock many cutscenes about their journey whilst playing SC mode.
Sorry to break the news to ya pal, but completing Scenario Campaign mode is quite necessary if you want to get anything out of Tekken 6, and I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to play it, because it’s very fun, and better than the Arena, in my opinion. SC Mode is also the main source of money, which you need to customise your characters for both offline and online mode.
Azazel is the final boss, and he has the same purpose as Jinpachi in Tekken 5: to show your skill with the character you’re playing as. Beating him shows you can fight with that character and that you deserve the rewards available.

I want to play maybe buy a fighting game for ps3… game spot rates Soulcalibur IV an 8.5 (online play is a big plus). I heard tekken was coming out next yr along with street fighter… I wish they had a Killer instinct for ps3
Soul Calibur IV. Definetely. It has got great character creation, a nice online mode and good graphics. If you play online, you might have problems with button-mashers, but if you’re good enough, even that won’t stop you. It’s fighting system is easy to learn, but hard to master, to answer using a quote.^^
Greatest Fighting game of all time?
What do you view as the greatest fighting game of all time? if you’re one of the many people who just played the tekken games and no other fighter then please say so, so i know how worthy your opinion is (I mean that in the nicest way possible lol, i don’t mean Tekkens bad, but your opinion matters more if you’ve played a variety of different games).
I’ve played quite a few fighting games, but only really got into them in the past 5 years or so, before that i was a platformer junkie lol.
Here are my favourites, i tried to narrow it down as much as possible…
The Marvel Vs Capcom series, Virtua Fighter 5, Super Smash Bros.
Super Smash Bros kept me entertained for hours on end but it’s started to lose some of its appeal lately because the online options are pretty limited and none of my friends play SSB like they used to in the old days.
Marvel VS Capcom, I prefer the second game in the series simply because it’s got more content however i’m able to play 1 online using kaillera so that’s the one i’m playing more at the moment.
Virtua Fighter 5, I love the level of depth in this game, it has to be the deepest game i’ve ever played… full stop. I haven’t played it in a while though and i’m afraid this will effect my performance lol.
<_< Well i really got into fighters when the first SSB came out but didn’t like the entire genre until recently.
Should i get Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm?
Hey, is Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm good? I only got a ps3 and i have heard it sucks balls. I really am not a person who cares a lot about the storyline. If i wanted a good storyline i’d just watch the series. But anyways people say its boring and a let down. I have been playing soul calibur 4, tekken 5 dr,and virtua fighter 5 so far.
I like playing these games but i want a game that feels more interesting. Will Ninja storm give me the compelling fighting. Im ok with the button mashing “O” since ive been playing a lot of harder fighting games. I just want a game that wwill bring me into the game rather than focusing on the buttons to press lol. I only wish this game was online because it seems that the vs mode is fun with others. Dont understand why they didnt include online but anyways should i get ninja storm?

Compare to V Fighter and Soul Calibur 4 its a good game,but if u compare it to Tekken.Naruto really suck balls.
